No problems here today. Good service, very quick food order. Purity UBU was in great condition. Smashing location. Smart Inside and Out. Deserves to be a success. Visit blogged at http://bit.ly/2fURofP Mappiman - 19 Aug 2017 18:35 |
having read the reviews from a few years ago things seem to have gone very much downhill. Arrived by boat and it took well over an hour for a sandwich order. we ordered a child's lasagna- came full size, (but did keep us going fortunately) only bread available was ciabatta which I like so fine but when it finally arrived they had run out and gave us a poor quality roll, Bar service slow and the beer was poor. pilchard2 - 22 Sep 2013 14:43 |
A friend and I had lunch at The Frog on a Monday en route to Stratford races. The place was empty and our hopes weren't high. However, the meals we had were superbly prepared and excellent value. From info in the bar it seems that it came under new ownership in March 2008 and is about to celebrate the first anniversary. SagaLout - 14 Mar 2009 13:16 |
I really like this pub, its a good size with a beer garden by the river, the staff are lovely as is the landlady. They have a band on every fortnight for entertainment and the food is very good. Beer is pricey, but worth it as it is a good pint! The eating area is separate to the main drinking area, which I think is nice for those who just want a quiet meal. lilmiss - 9 Nov 2008 15:33 |
The best pub in Bidford currently, recently under new management. Excellent food, especially sunday lunch (outstanding) although the service in the restaurant can be lousy sometimes the food makes up for it.Beware tho the chef is always closing the kitchen 30 mins early so he can go home much to my annoyance on 3 occasions now and he is rude. A lovely place to sit in the beer garden in the summer with views over the river and across to the meadow and saxon bridge. gafferreg - 25 Sep 2008 05:07 |
