Surprised at the low overall score for this pub, can only assume it was once a dive. All I can say is I visited it for the first time and found a very friendly and comfortable local, with a good selection of real ales, including a couple I have never seen before, would go back without hesitation. happy_wanderer - 17 Apr 2012 16:57 |
So glad the Feathers has re opened. I like this place as it has a friendly atmosphere and feels like a proper pub. Good beer and nice Sunday lunch. the_undertaker - 10 Oct 2010 15:33 |
I have recently been to this pub twice once on a Friday for a meal, which was fantastic and there was a DJ and music quiz for free..wow..Service was brilliant and food was greeeeat . Went back on the Sat and there was live music ..not wuite so busy but great evening everyone was so friendly.. I have recommended this pub for meals to several friends..2 sets have been and said the food was great especially the steaks, mussels and lobster!! jw jowhy - 19 May 2010 07:20 |
Nicely redecorated pub in a good area. Fullers London Pride and Gales Seafarers Are are served. But the place lacked atmosphere on our Monday night visit, with no customers at all until we walked in. blue_scrumpy - 27 Feb 2010 11:33 |
Hi, went there today for the first time with friends for a sunday roast.I must say we were not dissapointed, very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very good, plenty of veg, extra gravey and nicely served. The pub was very cosy with a real fire going and a very friendly atmosphere.I noticed that there is jazz & rock music advertised for entertainment nights and a weekly datrs comp with a 100 first prize.Apparently it was closed for 18 months was reopened October last year, and on first visit seems to be going in the right direction.Definately going back again if only for the food.
