| A large carvery place attached to a chain hotel. Food was palatable although the beer was not all that good - a bit stale I thought, perhaps having four ales on is too many outside the holidays / half terms etc. Mostly used by diners although you can get a drink separately in the bar area. rainlight - 17 Nov 2014 21:18 |
| Has reopened in March 2013. landlord and landlady have a young family so kids are welcome. Getting a good crowd of regulars in bar now with strict anti drugs policy and there has been no trouble in the 9 or so weeks it has been re opened. Food is currently limited to Sunday Roasts as new owners try and build business up but ham and cheese cobs are always available. Is now a free house so not brewery tied and beer prices are very keen more like social club prices than pub prices. Nice atmosphere in there if you live in Rubery / Rednal area would suggest you try it. Nice to have a local that is not overun with drugs and trouble. Hope new owners can keep up the good work.
