Unfortunately no Jennings Cumberland ale on cask - then again no other ale on cask - nicely refurbished pub but not one punter in on a Saturday afternoon @ 17.00 hrs - the Delph run is an institution please don't let this pub fail

The Dock And Iron DEFINATELY the best pub down The Delph! Pay a visit and try Daves Cobs, or his Scampi and Chips and now his Garlic Mushrooms are to die for ! Forget the rest just visit the best !
Dave and his staff give a heary welcome to families and being a biker
himself all bikers welcome.

What a great place since Dave the biker Camel ed took over. He cant do enough for you even if it is hard to shut him up for 5 minutes. Ask him for a sample of his own recipe spicy garlic mushrooms you might get a free one. Beer served well, a landlord that actually wants you to enjoy yourself and now food cant be bad.

This pub next in line from the "Tenth Lock" on the Delph run certainly looks the part. But the lack of customers was a sign of there being something wrong. There was no one inside and just a few folks sat outside.

No real ale, the Banks's keg smooth pour MILD served here cannot compete with Bathams MILD two pubs down or Banks's cask Original one pub back the other way. And then theres the gorgeous barmaid at the Black Horse next door, no competition at all.
