cant even watch the foodball here any more cause the only people who visit this pub these days are the coffin dodgers on a sunday for their dry meat and frozen peas, yummy!!!!

It's a Wacky Warehouse - basically you know what you're going to get: screaming kids, huge families and not much else.

If you can get there on a quieter night you would be better off but even so, the food has always been served pretty quickly and been decent. Price wise the meals are excellent and you can see why it's popular with families.

Unfortunately it's not really a pub any more. They have a few beers on but lately the drink prices are disproportionate to the food. The bar service is particularly bad - I work in a bar myself and if I had kept people waiting as long as I had to wait, I'd probably have got a b*llocking from my boss.

If you've got a family and are looking for an affordable meal, this is up your street. For everyone else, carry on further down the Lordswood Road to Harborne High Street and there's more quality places to choose from.

Hard to know what to say about this. Nothing particularly wrong with it but nothing outstanding either. Obviously aimed at families and diners but there's room enough for everyone.

Pretty much identikit chain pub (can't remember which chain, but if you pop in you'll recognise some of its sister establishments instantly), but in fairness, very comfortable nonetheless. The drinks they do serve are all of an acceptable standard if unremarkable, but aren't expensive. Service was friendly and prompt. Good place for watching the football and food seems pretty decent. All in all, a pretty average pub that is a slight waste of a very nice building in a location with very little direct competition. Oh, and will someone please turn the heating down, it's absolutely roasting in there!
