| I think the Mechanic Arms is a very warm and friendly pub, it has a nice open coal fire, traditional with the pubs of yesteryear, the staff are very welcoming and friendly as are the customers, who never fail to raise a smile, even on the coldest and rainiest of days. The bar staff are very good and again, very friendly, they know the regulars and are always ready for them with a drink and a smile. It's nice to still be able to go to a true workingman's pub, sadly these kind of pubs are becoming a thing of the past. Keep up the good work. shadowdweller - 6 Jan 2007 14:27 |
