I really liked it in here. Very pleasant lady serving and a couple of old boys propping up the bar chatting about football. Excellent pint of the black stuff and we enjoyed sitting out the front watching the world go by with a great view of the flats. There is a huge garden out the back which I'm guessing is popular with families. With the continued gentrification of the area it could be a gold mine if they looked to gastro it.

Currently visiting a pub on every station on the London Overground. Did this pub for Wanstead Park. After being initially dubious upon entering I liked this pub, had an excellent pint of St Edmunds ale and a very, very nice home cooked style sunday roast (at just 6.50). Nothing fancy and certainly not gastro but a very nice pub for a bite to eat, watch the football and have a couple of pints.

The best of the pubs in the area. Friendly family run boozer. Slightly unusual building structurally and only generic beers on show. Dodgy Guinness but would definitely go back due to the friendliness and warmth of those behind the bar

Not the best pub in the world, but friendly staff , cheap drinks and a massive beer garden.
