| Very rude staff, actually going out of their way to avoid saying "please" and "thank you". Poor food - veg was clearly dated (yellow brocolli, brown lettuce, uncrunchy peppers). Dirty glasses - of 4 drinks ordered, all glasses (pints, and wine glasses) were dirty, with smears/grease/fingerprints, and in one case residual beer caked onto the inside of the glass. | The Menu says: 1 Find Table 2 Remember table number 3 Order food at order point, and order drinks at the bar 4. Leave the rest to us. We ordered food - served warm on cold plates, with a very sparing garnish. We then had to fetch our own condiments & cutlery. So much for "Leave the rest to us." | I LIVED IN STOKE FOR THE ALMOST TWO YEARS AND YOU COULD SAY THE P.V WAS MY LOCAL AS I LIVED AND WORKED THERE AS BAR STAFF. I WAS FULL TIME AND THE CUSTOMERS WHO VISITED THE PUB WHERE BRILLIANT I THOUGHT THEY WERE KIND AND FUNNY AND INTROCUCED ME TO OATCAKES.
