| Don't know if this is the same place but there is a new bar in Halkett Place called "The Halkett" which is a smart contemporary style venue with various seating areas and three small bar counters. It has obviously been converted from a previous bar. Food is available and there are real ales from the local Liberation brewery (the Bitter and the Ambree were pretty good). As with many pubs in Jersey the staff appear to come from Poland (or at least somewhere in Eastern Europe). mcroyal - 26 May 2011 12:48 |
| a fine mix between jersey finance workers and Polish seasonal workers, more wine bar then pub of course so not everyones cup of earl gray. Kevin is a well known and well liked figure locally and will guarantee a warm welcome to anyone up for enjoying themselves. Fixxxer - 13 Nov 2006 12:07 |
