| Rough and ready but in a way that made me like this pub. Low ceilings, dark corners and worn fittings and fixtures all added to the "real pub" atmosphere. Friendly to a visitor, good beer. I'd happily have it down the road from me. Borage - 15 Aug 2006 15:02 |

| I would not say at all rough and ready, With door staff on a saturday night make it the one of the only pubs apart from the near by club to have entertainment in welshpool on a saturday, and a lot of locals spend most of the evening there also those that call in for a drink on the way down to the local club. Entertainment is from 9pm till 1am on saturdays the door staff then move down to the local Club and work the door there Every other sunday 8pm till 12.00 with disco & karaoke when the pub is the only pub in town to have entertainment thedj - 31 Jan 2006 22:14 |
