| The Black Bull has went through a few managerial changes in the last couple of years, but it remains a nice pub, with a good atmosphere. The main bar is big enough to not be uncomfortable when it's busy, with good service the norm. I've had the food on a couple of occasions and it is fine, if a bit underwhelming. The snug bar is tiny, and absolutely lovely - pictures and poems in tribute to past locals adorn the walls. | This is a great pub, good beer, excellent food and friendly service. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection - you could tell that it had been cooked there and then and not kept warm and dehydrated under hot lamps.
