| In here last Saturday and by far the best pub in Town. There was a bit of a crowd in but they left to go to a wedding leaving a dozen or so of us behind. 2 TV’s on one showing rugby and the other footy (Luton v Plymouth) – they also have a pool table. 6 hand pulls serving Marstons Bitter & Pedigree, Ringwoods Boon Doogle & 49er & Hobgoblin. | Popped in yesterday to see what the refurb was all about....6 Truncheons on the bar, which was an encouraging spectacle. Whilst not a fan of Banks/Marstons, I am pleased to report that both were in excellent nick, and served with a nice smile....makes a hell of a difference, so kudos for that. | Reopened a couple of days ago. Very nicely refurbishment. Still has dart boards, pool table added. Nice selection of wines and spirits. Strong ow as cider, Guinness and carling as well as 6 beer pumps although only 3 in use with Pedigree, banks bitter and mild on draft.
