user reviews of the White Swan, Exning

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Exning has more of suburban feel to it than a villagey one and the Swan did have more of a town local feel to it. Pretty much an open plan bar and area where it looks like a pool table either was or should be lead over to the ways to the garden. Two uninspiring ales on offer - I went for the Bombardier and was pleasantly surprised as it was a very nice pint. Staff were freindly and clientelle pleasant enough. A nice enough down to earth everyday alehouse.

Great Pub run by really friendly family- food good too!
only one draw back too many gay friendly undercover cops drink in there but good game to play -see if you can spot them!!

i went here a few weeks ago, the land lord and his family were fantastic, the beer was the best i've tried and the local people were very polite and freindly, all in all a beautiful pub. mike, great yarmouth.

Came across The White Swan on my way to the airport. Having read the previous review I reckon I must be a cuckoo 'cause it all seemed pretty 'normal' to me! Didn't get eaten by the locals!
It was a Monday lunch time and the place seemed quite busy, it was nice and clean and was selling real ale at the time.
It seems that 'new' people have taken over, a family team apparently, and you can see evidence of a new broom about the place.
I think food is available, though I didn't try this, but clearly the pub is mainly aimed at 'Sky Sports' types!
All in all a decent, friendly pub.

Walked in here and it was like a scene from one flew over the cuckoos nest! Always wondered where these sorts went.
