Fantastic place, though can't understand why it's classified as a 'pub' in so many places. It's a restaraunt and, possibly, a bar, surely. Good mellow ambience and great food. Friendly staff. Lots of candle-lit nooks - could be quite romantic. Seem to remember there was something very odd hanging from the ceiling - possibly a motorbike (honestly). Greshon - 20 Feb 2007 18:38 |
This is a hidden gem. Definitely a restaurant rather then a pub but thought I'd give it a mention as I've been a few times and have absolutely loved the atmosphere and food, which is eclectic, original and very good quality. Give it a whirl and you won't regret it. They even have a belly dancer at weekends, quality! shindigger - 9 Nov 2006 12:55 |
If youre in need of a night out at a fabulous place with guaranteed fabulous food and atmosphere and lashings of individuality, you need to get to The Triangle. This popular little hideaway is an absolute gem of a restaurant that nestles snugly between Crouch End and Finsbury Park and the moment you walk through the door your every sense is stimulated. A unique and absolutely stunning bar/restaurant run by Aziz Begdouri, I had the pleasure of being introduced to the place 5 years ago, when it first opened, and, quite simply, I havent found better. The dcor is warm, inviting, a seamless blend of art from all over the world, lush plants, fountains in the windows (yes, really), a roaring fire in the winter and in the summer a simply exquisite garden that features a kind of. well, I dont even know that theres a word for it, youll just have to go and see for yourself. Oh, and did I mention the upside-down bedroom on the ceiling? anonymous - 2 Sep 2006 13:55 |
Fantasticly decadent Moroccan style setting, friendly helpful staff and although this venue is classified as a restaurant the staff are happy for you to just drink. They have simple coctails and a selection of nice wines. Although I didn't eat dinner there the food looked varied and amazing. Perfect place to visit if you want to add a bit of spice to your evening! Harmony - 3 Nov 2004 17:14 |
