No real ale and very loud (today at 5.30pm) oftenscore6 - 22 Nov 2009 20:36 |
Pretty much the only place to go in headingly late on and does a reasonable job most of the time. It is full of trendy people but then what do you expect in the middle of headingly. Good for the occasional footy game due to loads of tvs all over the place. nickevans84 - 14 Mar 2007 20:31 |
Full of FHM's but not bad, good for the football corbon - 15 Feb 2007 17:33 |

Despite being something of a trendy bar, Box, manages to escape the worst of the Headingley socialite scene, with un-pretentious door staff, and decent prices. They may be more than the local or Wetherspoons, but Trio's and Arc are at least half again!! A great menu is complimented by regular offers on beer and wine. A bottle of house red or white is about a fiver in the week. Down points include large numbers of students and the occasional pretentious mullet sporting idiot. But spotting them and laughing is half of the fun of being at the Box. Aeromonkey - 4 Jan 2005 15:22 |
