Dirty, souless, shocking service. Ale far too cold and served in Guinness glasses! Food appauling, avoid at all costs! Plenty of nicer places just a short drive into Sandbach PubPubber - 9 Jun 2012 17:42 |
Traditional coaching inn with oak beams etc located on the A50. Seems mainly centred around food (I'd already eaten). Two cask ales available, the Doom Bar I sampled was okay but quite expensive at 3.30 a pint. alexw - 7 Oct 2011 08:19 |
Former coaching inn in superb half-timbered building, now part of the Vintage Inns chain of dining pubs. Choice of three cask ales, decent food, efficient service. rentaquote - 22 Apr 2011 21:46 |
Indeed it does gouldeneye and this continues inside. Alas, the food is not very good at all and the service wasn't up to much either. Makes us realise how lucky we are down here in Cornwall. Bears Head scores 2/10 - Must try harder. Gola - 19 May 2010 12:48 |
