| We visited Buxted Inn today for lunch. We had a fantastic meal. Our two daughters were also very happy with their choice of chicken breast strips with choice of vegetables. They were given a wide choice from the menu as well. I had a gorgeous beef roast; the meat was cooked to perfection and plentiful, the potatoes were very tasty and the vegetables fresh. My husband ate a home made burger and hand cut chips and stated that our meal was "the best pub meal he had had in years" The staff were all very attentive and overall service was excellent. | Great pub. The Harveys Best on handpump was spot on. Excellent food. The breakfast is highly recommended. But you have to pre-book, for breakfast at least. Friendly, efficient staff, good parking and nearby station. What more could you want? WipersTom - 23 Mar 2013 20:35 |
| We have recently spent a most enjoyable evening at The Buxted Inn and can highly recommend it for great service and fantastic food. As we arrived we were warmly welcomed by all the staff and this excellent service continued throughout the evening. Our food was extremely well cooked and well presented and my wife can highly recommend the medley of fish dish, cooked in a delicous sauce which was divine (her words not mine ). As for the comment about the car park well we had no problems parking in the large carpark at the rear so please don't let that comment put you off and go visit Jason and Gary at The Buxted Inn very soon....you won't be disappointed!! idimetal - 31 Mar 2011 18:25 |
| I have eaten twice here in the past few months. Excellent service, good food with generous portions and very reasonably priced. I just hope they keep up the standards and keep the prices down. | Have just enjoyed one of the finest meals my wife and I have had for a long time, cooked and presented very professionally by a very well presented team, the premises nicely arranged, marks out of 10 would have to be 10.
