| Only bar I ventured ashore to on our recent Nile Cruise and that was only because it was on the 'Jetty' area below the Nile El Corniche and you could get to it without setting foot on the actual street thereby avoiding the hassle from the cab drivers/caleche drivers/clothing traders etc. etc. (You get the picture). Nice seating outdoors on the jetty looking out over the cruiseboats and the cheapest beers in Luxor (apparently). All local beers - Stella, Sakkarra and Meister were available starting at 8 Egyptian Pounds (11 E� to the English �).
