| It's just had a major makeover, and is now completely different to the old pub - it's very stylish, and has a nice, comfortable feel to it. Not somewhere that's going to win any CAMRA awards - go to the nearby Mermaid or Blacksmith's Arms for a good selection of real ales - but definitely a good place to meet up with people. It does food but I didn't try any of it. Beerintheevening people: it no longer has a pool table. Can't remember seeing a TV but I'll leave that for somebody else to confirm. | great pub, weird but lovely locals, they all seem to know each other very well . That's what a pub's about innit. No real ale but the mix in there is unique. young , old , male, female.
