The best Le Frog by far for service and ambience - the staff were truly excellent - wrong burger sir, sorry - keep that one and we'll get another and throw in a free jug of beer (4 pints)...now that is service. Beer...so, so...Parislytic the best. kernott1 - 14 Feb 2015 14:40 |
Love this pub to bits. The whole chain is great but this is the best one to come to for a more chilled evening and does the better food! cmofish - 2 Aug 2006 11:33 |
Fantastic english-themed pub that brews its own beer (and also has a selection of normal beer for the less adventurous). Tucked away in a quiet back street in the 6th arrondissement, this is one English pub that isn't full of American tourists - the majority of the clientele is French. It's a rugby pub in the Six Nations season, with enough TVs to get a good view (unless it's England-France) - the staff are friendly, happy, mostly multilingual (at least English-French) the home-made beer is excellent and they even do good (if slightly predictable) food. The best nights are Tuesdays (student night) and Fridays... check it out! Lewis - 27 Sep 2004 22:27 |
