Certainly gone downhill since previous reviews. Only one hand pump and that was sold out. Barman has a spiky punk haircut, vastly over tattooed customers (and that's the women)! Not impressed at all. hollybush33 - 8 Jul 2019 19:13 |
Came in here before & after a game at Bramhall Lane, 5 blokes and a kid, great little pub and very busy. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff...I had a few pints of Tim Taylor Landlord and it was excellent. Would recommend this place to any fans going to the game that might not had visited yet...worth a pint of anyone's money. lezford - 7 Dec 2011 18:48 |
After the fabulous refurb, I feel that the Standard has come into it's own. Haven't had a bad pint yet. Beware of the Rod Stewart look-a-like at the end of the bar! bombaybadboy - 8 Aug 2005 19:14 |
Not a bad pub at all, beers a bit pricey but good overall. BigJapp2 - 28 Jul 2005 14:56 |
