Not changed much since last visit - it's okay but only a couple of ales on. They had a Victoria brew from Tring that was nothing special. Snarling_Mallard - 8 May 2019 12:05 |
Wasn't a great choice of ale and all from major brewers. Was okay but not the ale destination some seem to think it is. Snarling_Mallard - 2 Feb 2014 12:33 |
A friendly boozer with a rotating selection of ale. Food good and staff cheery. A bit of a gem in my view. AubreyMontague - 28 Jan 2013 20:17 |
Reasonable real ale pub near Police Station in Dunstable, single bar, football shown. Beer quality reasonable. Can get very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, full of locals, which can be a bit awkward when trying to get a table. manx_888 - 24 Dec 2012 09:30 |
Popped in to sample some ales for their August Bank Holiday beerfest after a longish absence. Still mostly the same, very friendly pub and some very good beers in the beer festival. Now showing footie again (Italian Sky - don't need to listen anyway and more attractive presenters). Staff and customers very friendly. They normally favour the Tring brewery beers (if that is your fancy) but do have guests otherwise. Probably nosed back in front of The Globe overall in my opinion. mikey64 - 26 Aug 2012 20:04 |
