why go in here when just outside in the gutter is a puddle that serves better drinks and the grid usually collects chicken bones from sfc which are tastier than anything on the menu and are probably better for you too!!! just because i wear a hat dosen't mean im a scally! some people are are bald and enjoy the warmth and comfort of a hat!! avoid avoid avoid!

Staff were nice and food tasted ok but my partner had a stange stomach later on in the evening. Not sure whether was food, drink (he was on ale, I was on lager) or maybe a coincidence. HUGE TV's everywhere which kind of killed conversation.

This place lacks any atmosphere, big pub, no one in the place.

Formerly known as the George and Dragon, which was officially the scalliest pub in stockport. Its now had a refurb and gone no smoking. However it still has the same bar staff and some of the old scallies still frequent. For a pub specialising in witherspoons type food it is quite poor.
