I like this pub, very much. Though it doesn't seem to open on certain lunch times for whatever reason. The food is excellent and good value for money. Nothing wrong with the beer either. Recommend a visit if you are in the area. TheGuiltyOne - 26 Jan 2011 12:47 |
Lovely. Called on a busy Bank Holiday and managed to get a table. Landlord and landlady very pleasant and helpful Staff smiling and cheerful, great food, great atmosphere would def recommend to friends. My wife, a vegetarian, most impressed with the choices for her. robertwade - 21 Sep 2006 20:51 |
Brilliant traditional British pub with very friendly staff and cosy surroundings. Good range of bar and restaurant meals and there's always something on the menu to suit everyone. Good choice of beers and wines too. Recommend booking during busy periods. pintpot - 23 Jun 2006 18:17 |
this pub has a very friendly atmosphere and you couldnt want to meet any nicer landlady and landlord. the staff at the pub are also very ffriendly and the service is excellent. the veiw from the restaurant is breathtaking, but if you want to be guaranteed a seat you would deffinately have to book. the pub itself is very nice looking and the food is just wonderful. the pub features many different ales all as good as each other. they have a very extensive menu including a vegetarian speials board and menu. i would deffinatley give this pub a ten/ten. hodgkiss_1 - 30 Sep 2005 09:17 |
the dog inn is a very good pub serving fine ales and good food every day of the week. the food there is great and the chefs really have done a good job. the service is friendly and excellent and you wont be going home hungry. during the winter time there is an open fire which roars throughout the pub. Brian and Christine are the friendliest licensees i have ever met. the atmosphere is wonderful and you can see locals. hodgkiss_1 - 23 Sep 2005 11:14 |
