Not a bad pub, with a choice of 2-3 real ales on tap. Food is reasonably priced and cooked. Clientele mainly amicable, as are the bar staff. Has music sessios over the weekend which can be as hit and miss as the choice of ales; sometimes there's something to suit your taste but more often than not it's just all a bit too bland. Worth a visit though. eastkent - 7 Mar 2010 12:10 |

Great evening pub with something going on most nights. Two pool tables when I was in and there was a good crowd of people - great to get out of Dover Pintandpieman - 25 Jun 2006 11:29 |
Beerlady I agree, this place has changed so much and theres agreat atmosphere especially when theres a match on. Live music has just started on a regular basis so we'll be walking up the hill more often in future. OliverPynt - 23 Dec 2005 18:17 |
At last a pub in Dover where a female can walk in and have a quiet drink with her mates. Recently changed hands and the improvement is fantastic. Beer in excellent condition Beerlady - 27 Oct 2005 17:29 |
