| Odd place - popped in on the way home from Memtmore Golf and on walking in there were about 8 people around the bar but not a single person was talking to each other ?? Think American Werewolf ! | The Hare always gets behind the community and supports all what is positive about our country. The landlord (Jim) is always doing something for charity, the Ales are diverse and at the right price, the food is good and you get large portions. great place to spend an afternoon, full marks! | This is a really great pub, we recently moved to the area and found this little gem walking back from the train station. The bar staff were friendly the beer and food were good, glad to make this place my local, best pub ive been to in town so far. jofish - 24 May 2010 11:39 |

| Went to this pub a few times. Has an alright choice of drinks. Overall prices are on the high side. Relatively decent entertainment. Ease of location a bonus given sparce choice in locality. Still, its not the best pub in the area. anonymous - 28 Mar 2007 16:43 |
