two handpumps with just pedigree on, opted for guinness at 2.50, ok pub 6/10 fat_beer_badger - 16 Feb 2011 23:25 |
Worth a visit for a cheap drink, but that pretty much it. The bar staff are always really slow and the inside is desperatlely in need of an update. janis86 - 14 Oct 2010 17:43 |
A pub for the younger drinker in Poulton and if you'er a lager drinker the best range of lager in Poulton ( the stella is super and for 2.25 a pint). There is 1 handpump on and the ale is very good, tastes even better at 1.70ish a pint! Food is good and cheap. If you want to watch the match this is the place with numerous telly's, but be warned it gets VERY busy for the big matches (Man Utd, Liverpool, England and of course Blackpool:o). Good smoking shelter out the back too.Overall well worth a visit and nobody can argue with the beer prices! TommyTangerine - 2 Oct 2009 22:39 |
I think this is one of the best pubs in Poulton, and have the best bar staff that are very friendly and very good. anonymous - 20 Feb 2007 17:24 |
Not a bad bar. Has quite a bit of talent but most of the girls look exactly the same (fake tan, blond hair, WAG wannabees). Bar staff are pretty useless but its a good pub on a nice summer day and should be added on a Poulton pub crawl. Some decent strong beers on tap too although they all taste just like Carlsberg. bouncybouncy - 8 Sep 2006 16:01 |
