This place is a renowned scumhole and from what I have heard from people who live local to it they would agree. Barbon_ - 27 Apr 2012 21:35 |
I lived in Billy Green's for 6 years between 1986 to 1992. From what i remeber it was a great pub then.I can't believe it was featured on "Britain's Toughest Pubs". I haven't been in their since I moved out. I'm trying to find a photo of it, if anyone could help me I would be greatful. mcdonaghkerry - 16 Nov 2006 00:16 |
well billy himself was a local top boxer, his pub was called the vauxhall which comes from the local vauxhall gardens that were big thing for folk in the 19th century in collyhurst. The pub has featured on Coro st, its the main pub in north Manchester for meeting old freinds at whitweek which is taken more serious than Christmass or N Year, when billy passed away the pub changed name to Billy Greens colin blaney - [email protected] - 1 Feb 2005 16:09 |
