| Visited tonight, and despite all the very true criticisms noted below I managed to have an enjoyable session. It must be said that the staff seemed to be even more persistent with this schnapps thing, and I had to persuade them twice or three times to take no for an answer. But the beer was very thirstquenching and like anywhere once you get in conversation with people one beer leads to another. And Roll Out The Barrel was well received by the crowd inside. Obviously as mentioned in a previous review, not a pub to measure Prague by, but a bit of fun albeit overpriced. lad_newton - 8 Jul 2010 21:09 |
| With respect to dableywolf, I have known this pub since 1988 and it has ALWAYS been a tourist rip-off. Mr Wolf probably knows a few other decent places to go but sadly many people form their views of Prague pubs solely from visiting this place. guayabera - 27 Jan 2010 16:14 |
| U Fleku is now starting to disappoint me. Their unique dark beer is the only reason to visit. It has turned into a tourist rip-off. 59Kc and rising for a short measure. | The dark beer was OK, but not as good as I had been led to believe, the place itself is OK. Thats the good side. The staff are persistent with the schnapps, I went there at lunch-time, and despite only having half a dozen 'anorak' customers, the accordian player appeared, and we were charged for the privelege.
