| This is the better of the two pubs in the village of Ugborough. A smart clean modern place with a restaurant and a bar area and a few benches out the front. My pint of Doombar was excellent but we only had the one here as we had to press on. | On holiday and hungry so just turned left of the A38 . First village we came to and on the outside wernt sure. But glad we stopped . Really clean , warm and welcoming. | Good location, excellent friendly hospitality and great food with very good presentation, as well as attractive surroundings make this a pub I will want to visit again when next in the area. | Always welcoming, and happy to accomodate at short notice if they have room. Menu changes regularly using local and seasonal ingredients. Getting through two courses is a challenge and three a feat. Will cook things the way you want. ie Blue steak is blue. Nice range of wines. Reserve Rioja very good.
