The London trader I found to be a great old town pub.Seems to have discos late on Friday and Saturday and always live music on a Sunday. Quick bar staff and an enjoyable atmosphere. My sister and I even popped in to see the band the previous review had mentioned and we were surprised ( due to the review) because there was a fantastic busy bounce feel to the pub with lots of songs to sing along with. We also went back to catch The do theys - fabulous- and the two tones - great Sunday afternoons Pippure - 13 Sep 2016 18:29 |
Popped in on a sunday afternoon......and quickly popped out again! Rank beer...place seemed to be full of idiots and real piss'eads ! Band on was called Sara G and the Other Three...possibly the worst band I have ever seen. How can a landlord book a band that's this bad ? It beggars belief that they were probably paid too.Unbelievably awful all round ! sexysadie - 29 Apr 2013 21:04 |
This place seems to be deteriorating. Full of loud noisy drunks and the ale was undrinkable. Floyd - 16 Nov 2011 17:30 |
A seafront boozer - I had a London Pride in here which was not that great but I am sure this kind of place gets quite lively with a young crowd at the weekend. The service was just okay - the landlady (I presume) appeared a little bored, just kind of doing her job I suppose. Internally, it was not shabby, worn floorboards and thick wooden upright supporting posts and adequate for watching a bit of Saturday football but just a mediocre brew. sefpacific - 30 Sep 2011 21:45 |
