| This is a fantastic venue!!! I was a little dubious as a youg guy i always thought Churchills catered for a slightly older crowd... i was so wrong. Iv never had a dull night in there and the karaoke 3 times a week is great. I work in the biggest gay club in manchester and I personally think this is a great chilled atmosphere with a friendly environment. Have to agree though about the bar staff.. they do generally let the place down. entertainment=8/10 service=2/10 management=10/10 door staff=9/10 but with good friends who cares bout the staff ridemcowboy - 11 Nov 2004 00:35 |
| I agree with the other comment in that the staff really didn't give a dam and service was about the worse I've had in central Manchester. | Situated in the 'gay village' Churchills is a large 'fun pub' type place with 0 atmosphere. The pub before its refurb a couple of years ago used to ooze character and was a welcome retreat from the madding crowd.However,since these times, atmosphere is virtually non-existent,staff couldn't care less,beer prices are high and generally not worth a visit unless you enjoy any of the above.
