| After trying the Steps in the nice area of Washington Old Village, we arrived at the Sandpiper which was disappointing. It has the look and feel of a 1970s estate pub, with a characterless interior, devoid of any atmosphere. I'm not sure if it is owned by Greene King. | I have been in this pub on many of occasions and the bar staff seem to get ruder and ruder. It has gone downhill severly in recent years. The food is horrid and the beer is really overpriced. flip - 22 May 2007 11:52 |
