What can I say..this used to be one of the places to be in Eccles, on a friday and saturday night. At one point you couldnt even get through the door it was that packed..but then it came the place to be if you were looking for a fight. Since many occasions, of windows being put through, fights outside the pubs..its turned almost like a ghost town. Quite a shame really as it was such a great pub, and was very lively. anonymous - 16 Mar 2004 18:16 |
Quite sad to say the least..the Oddies was one of the busiest pubs of a weekend on Church Street. At one point you couldnt get through the door it was that packed..but now its like a ghost town. Really miss the old Oddies..Church Street has never been the same. All in all..nice little pub. anonymous - 16 Mar 2004 18:07 |

recently this pub has been closed, due to the MANAGER (Barry) NOT the LANDLORD, had smashed it up and did a runner with everything. Now under new licensee. anonymous - 23 Nov 2003 23:46 |
