Thought this pub lacked a bit of atmosphere. But our visit was on a Monday afternoon. Being a Brains house, they had SA Gold on. We opted for the only other ale - Enville Ale, which was nothing special. It has a light and airy interior. Not quite sure why the pub is Lighthouse, because Blackheath doesn't seem to posess any. But I'm sure there must be a reason. blue_scrumpy - 23 Jan 2014 19:59 |
Building looks lovely.... Nice shade of blue. Surprised that its a brains house... We are a long way from south wales... I went for the more local enville ale, which was top draw. Mappiman - 13 Oct 2013 16:56 |

Nice place, pleasant staff. Brain's Dark excellent. Good low priced menu. Food sampled and highly commended. ebateman - 30 Apr 2009 23:47 |
Clean and re-furb since it was torched by a member of staff a few years ago. Good sized car park and a nice sized rear garden for the smokers.Enville is best option for the dranght drinkers and the usual amount of keg stuff available. New tennant in charge and hopefully can change the boring menu (which has been for sometime)and perhaps get the pub back to what it was a few years ago.Saturday nights must have the slowest/ignorant staff in the west Midlands. delrich - 1 Sep 2008 14:59 |
