Erm, well what can I say, it's a Hungry Horse family pub. Zero atmosphere, no nice ales, loads of kids and deep-fried offerings. One of the few eating places in Wantage however where you can by a reasonable tasting steak and a bottle of Austrlian Cabernet Shiraz for under 15, so I am tempted now and again. yogibeer - 27 Jul 2008 12:29 |
A Greene King pub that sells food that is microwaved rubbish. Good value to feed the kids on a budget. There is nothing to complement this establishment except it is on the way home after the Point to Point each year. tweekey - 6 Aug 2007 11:31 |
It says it's a "Free House" on the sign. They're obviously too embarrassed to admit that this is yet another pub that can only sell Greene King's appalling beer. Food's not bad though! pubinspectors - 31 Jul 2007 15:20 |
When kingalfred said "great food" I suspect he meant "reasonably priced fodder". anonymous - 19 Jul 2007 00:59 |
