| This is a Large Mcmullen pub with their standard ale range available alongside a standard draught selection. Like many Mcmullen pubs I found this place to be a little too food orientated as the function room which doubles up as the Sunday Carvery room would suggest. There is a decent beer garden which had a bouncy castle for the kids and there is plenty of parking, just remember to get the code to exit the car park. I found it a little sterile in here, but my visit was mid week and I would imagine that it livens up on Friday and Saturday nights as a disco was advertised for both. | Incredibly slow service, the food is nice when you get it though. Staff have been known to be quite rude and offish, although usually ok on a lunchtime. The menu is quite good though, although changing the amazing chocolate orange pudding into just an orange pudding was a bad move in my opinion :) walrus - 23 Oct 2008 12:05 |
