| Only go in owing to CAMRA beer tokens... dirty tables, previous people's remains of meals left scattered everywhere for too long. Pump clips never turned around when beer no longer available. | Seems to have had a bit of a facelift since my last visit, which has smartened it up somewhat - not before time. It's not the most attractive pub in the JDW chain, but the beer is usually well kept. One usual criticism though - too many beers marked 'Available soon'! beerpilgrim - 8 Jan 2012 23:14 |
| I have used this pub regularly in the past, probably 3 or 4 times a year but it has been getting worse and worse. Went in on a Saturday afternoon. Only two beers available from the 10 pumps all displaying ales. The wrong food was delivered to our table and then had to wait quite a while for the correct one to arrive. All of the staff accept one bright young lady (probably wont last) were zombies. This is now one of the the worst Wetherspoons in the area along with the one in Weston Super Mare.
