| The Wellington Inn at Lund dishes up the most amazing food. My last visit was on Sunday 14 November 2010. I chose the fishcakes with a curried apple sauce (only the small portion) and chips. What can I say! These fishcakes were the best I have ever tasted, and the chips were to die for! I could have eaten another portion that's for sure! | Extremely good food and friendly service. They have got the finer details right - local ales, wooden pub decor, inviting dining area and even wellington boots for booking/table markers. The wait for a table was short and gave us enough time to enjoy a beer. They forgot to tell us to order at the bar so we were sitting talking for a while but otherwise a flawless service. | my wife and i had a meal at the wellington (lund) last week and realy realy enjoyed the good food and the pleasant atmosphere, unfortunately the experience was spoilt when towards the end of the meal the waitress asked us if we would take our coffees to another room so as to free up the table as "they were busy". aholland - 31 Jan 2007 17:30 |

| The Wellington at Lund is a great place for a quiet drink with no loud music and you can have a great meal in either the bar or the restaurant.The beer is always kept to a very high standard and the service is top class . The bar meals are very very good and my only complaint is that the menu is not changed enough during the year .
