Dear KOTB....that's no 'waitress', that's my wife! Ladhimself - 27 Apr 2010 17:11 |
What a dump. I just love this place. It's raw and rocking, an absolutely essential boozer that really captures the bohemian heart of Whitstable. I visited recently after spending several hours at a nearby orgy. I was understandably hungry so ate the goose pate with Ribena followed by the ham broiled in Lambrini. To drink I had several pints of Double Diamond and, with my meal, a tuppence hapenny worth of Vodka and Umbongo. The people are so friendly here, too! Ladhimself - 27 Apr 2010 17:09 |
Please note: A Baracardi Breezer is a bit like a Bacardi Breezer, only more fishy! Ladhimself - 23 Feb 2010 15:17 |
I just love this place and can't visit often enough. After popping in to see Madame Morwena at he nearby dungeon, I popped into the Long Reach for some much-needed refreshment. I had the dim sum to start (very delicate) followed by the roast goost, parsnip parfit and endive salad. To finish I had the lemon sorbet. To drink I had eight pints of Old Todgers IPA, two bottles of Black Tower and a Baracardi Breezer. Wicked man! Ladhimself - 23 Feb 2010 15:15 |
Undaunted by my last visit, and eager to once again avail myself of Big Beryl's services at a nearby brothel, I visited this place yesterday for a late lunch. I had the Thai crab cakes to start followed by tortellini of lobster. To drink I had a quart of Worthington E and a Drambue chaser. I will certainly be returning, possibly with Beryl.
