| Wow, it's been a while since I last came here and what a difference! Seems to have been taken over by someone who actually cares. | I visited at lunchtime yesterday and was very impressed, the new refurbishment has reinvigorated this tired old pub, this is exactly what porthtowan needs . | This pub finally has some owners who have given it a new lease of life. Quirky interior and a great menu do its fabulous location justice. The have accommodation on the way and will do hires for weddings etc. This place will become a real gem Hillbilly123 - 1 Jun 2013 09:42 |

| was in there last april for a week and the previous july for a week. lovely location can't get a phone signal, pub had a problem the last time I visited 2 fights involving locals extended family cousins quarelling amongst themselves but as a location goes it can't be bettered good beer London Pride and Old Speckled Hen on tap well lookked after. geordie_kev - 17 Jan 2008 15:55 |
