user reviews of Bramingham, Bramingham Park

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This pub has now pitched itself towards the food clientele offering a daily carvery. Still some area for drinkers and pub garden in the Summer. Food was ok but the waitress told us we had to go and meet the carvery chef who wanted to say hello?! Whilst this was a nice touch to try and make us feel at home, I found this level of familiarity rather uncomfortable.

I play in a band called The Highwires. We played at The Bramingham on31st Jan. Have to say that the pub was brilliant. The barstaff were all very helpful and the beer was good too. I know people who ate their during the late afternoon and gave good praise of the food and service again.

For a band this is the perfect venue to play, large in size, good stage, and good beer and locals too.

I'll be popping back for a pint soon.

Very good quality and welcoming service, prices competitive. Interior is well thought of although beer garden is fairly small. Good example of an estate pub, we went on a sunday lunchtime so unsure about what it is like other times of week. Was fairly busy.

The Bramingham has recently been taken over by a new local family run company called Nelnick ltd. There is an extensive new menu and a much wider variety of live music and functions consisting of live bands once a month a disco every last friday of the month and a very popular quiz night every thursday night. The bram will be closed from the 17th of june 2007 for refurbishment in preporation for the smoking ban. I have seen the plans for the refurb and i strongly advise that you come and see it for yourselves when the Bram re-opens on the 1st of July 2007. The Bramingham has Cask Marque ales and three "scores on your doors" stars for their food ( the best by far in the surrounding area.) The Bramingham also boasts a huge flat screen tv in its sports bar with surround sound, a pool table and a dart board.

I visited The Bramingham, and was plesently surprised. I felt that it would be a locals pub, but the staff were brillient and friendly, and the managers were delightful. I shall definatly return.
