This is a well decorated Fuller's pub that is clearly popular with families and diners. There is a corner with plenty to keep little ones occupied. There were also more real ales than in previous pubs we had visited. Fuller's London Pride is their regular beer. But they also had their Red Fox, their Gale's HSB and also Dark Star Hophead. Staff were fairly welcoming. Not bad for a Fuller's pub. blue_scrumpy - 4 Nov 2018 11:56 |
A very pleasant pub, with a good selection of ales and fine food at reasonable prices. Can get a bit noisy round the bar area when busy so if you're there for a meal and a chat you might be best to sit round the corner. The staff are friendly and helpful but on a busy Saturday evening struggled to cope, adding someone else's drinks to our tab -- so check your bill carefully. This didn't spoil our enjoyment of an excellent risotto and good piece of tuna loin and I'm sure we'll be going back, but probably on a quieter day. priestleysj - 6 Apr 2014 20:16 |
An excellent pub in Worldham where the staff definitely make an effort for their customers. You'll get a better seat when it is not busy, but the menu has a reasonable selection of meals and the local ales are good. aleman - 28 Apr 2013 21:45 |
A nice pint after a long walk, that turned into dinner too. Lovely staff and a nice decor. A few well-kept beers and the food was delicious too. A great chance find. jkbayley - 7 Apr 2012 16:25 |
It's been under new ownership since January 2011 and has been renovated whilst retaining a pleasant country pub atmosphere. I visted recently, having given prior notice, with a group of middle aged walkers and we found it very welcoming. Food was reasonably priced and served promptly and the range of Fullers beers was in good condition. reg_walker - 4 Sep 2011 11:28 |
