We last visited here 2 years ago, and little has changed.

A lovely looking pub with 3 menus to choose from.

Well kept and good ale selection.

OK, but we won't be back.

Popped back here last month, nice to see the place out of season. Perfect pint of Tribute (though maybe because it was my first in a long time and the first in Cornwall this year!). Friday Fish & Chip special recommended, served up in the paper just like a proper take away, reasonably priced and plenty of it

My partner and I had dinner here and had a lovely time. Very good food with a excellent selection of menu's and the staff where very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Met up with some friends here back in July. Appeared to be well set-up for food but we weren't out of place just having a few drinks in the bar. Nice pint of St Austell Tinners which doesn't seem to be very easily found in a lot of St Austell pubs. I'd definitely be back if in the area again - a very characterful thatched building.

My partner & I planned to stop here for a drink halfway through a long cycle ride on a sunday afternoon. I went inside to place our order, but was sadly spoken to in a very off-hand manor by an elderly gentleman, presumably the landlord. I promptly left and went for a drink elsewhere. Disappointed as always thought it was such a nice pub.
