| The Castle Arms is a tied Marstons pub and serves 3 changing real ales from the Marstons extensive range. The highlight on a recent visit was Shipyard Summer Ale. The pub has not changed since being renovated by previous owners some years ago. There are letting bedrooms and a small caravan park. Food is reasonable and similarly priced for the area. Pleasant enough pub but expensive for what it is - more like Surrey stockbroker belt prices. Clientele in the main seem to fall in the group described on the internet as "silver surfers".
