Popped in very briefly for a pint of London Pride. A few other Fullers ales on too. A good sized pub with lots of parking space. Not very busy but it was early afternoon. Looked to be the sort of pub which could get lively in the evenings with a stage for live entertainment. Sky tv available so I watched the cricket whilst there. Staff seemed friendly enough.I notice there is going to be a Wetherspoons opening just down the road. Could be interesting! outtamehead - 23 Sep 2011 02:22 |
visited relatives in the area went into the pub on a tuesday night , ok pub but had an awful drunk woman ( could of been a bloke dressed as a woman) doing karaoke very badly whilst downing cider and sambucca, had chavs shouting pick me ! thought i was in a youth club, made a hasty exit! grahamth - 28 Oct 2010 20:57 |
Really nice pub with friendly staff. Unlike other pubs in the area they do not tolerate any trouble and hence its a great place to unwind and relax. Also does excellent food. I know it had a bit of a reputation years ago but these days its a great place for a night out. dazzza66 - 1 Jan 2009 14:29 |
I've only been for karaoke nights on Tuesdays and Sundays and it's been great. I live over an hour away and travel there every now and then, just to go to Heroes. Landlady is hillarious and the karaoke presenter does a great job of entertaining. buzzbee - 14 Oct 2005 23:48 |
Given the proximity to Waterlooville Police Station , I'm amazed at some of the clientele !!! anonymous - 1 Aug 2005 15:34 |
