The Pavillion is a QPR pub which i use before QPR home games , i brought my Arsenal friends who were wearing Arsenal colours and it was not a problem, i've since noticed that other QPR fans bringing rival supporters there and it has not being a problem either . Guinness is average but slightly over priced at 3.40 approx . In short i like the Pavillion and i will continue to use it as my football pub every other Saturday. broadwaycelt - 16 Sep 2012 11:52 |
I use the pub occasionally at lunchtimes when it is very quiet. Beer well kept but sadly it is Greedy king so no great taste or flavour. Asells Cyder is a good deal and is a great refreshing lunchtime pint. Food OK but a bit overpriced. Sausages in the Sausage and mash were pre-cooked and reheated which makes them a bit dry. 6.99 is therefore overpriced. addlened - 18 Jul 2012 14:15 |
Have only been this establishment 3 times visiting friends in London and on each occasion have witnessed a fight. This altercation inveriably happens around ten past eleven and is preceeded by drunk girls screaming and usually one or two terribly dishevelled pugelists being dragged to the exit, also crying, nursing obligatory face wound and telling the world how much they love one of the drunken girls still crying by the pool table. Up until this strange time when the drunken, crying and bloody faced fight, this is actually a decent pub with very friendly (older) locals. OllieReedsRat - 22 May 2011 22:52 |
I made one of the worst decisions in my life this week, The North Pole was closed for a minor refurb and I needed somewhere for lunch and sit to do some work so I gave The Pavilion a chance even though something told me not to. I should have listened to myself! I ordered food and drinks and I don't think the woman behind the bar have ever learnt the value of service with a smile. Terrible service! The only good point was the young man helping me getting ketchup. Very polite and friendly. The food was terrible, greasy was the word... Then I ordered coffee, my mistake! AWFUL horrid coffee! Seriously, Greene King should have a look at how the place is run... Safe to say that I will never be back ever again! Jens - 28 Mar 2010 14:44 |
It's a lot better than it used to be, i paid my first visit in there since 1996 for a darts match. Guinness 2.79, Carling 2.50. Quick and efficient service, but it was a Thursday and not many others in apart from the 2 dart teams, but would use again. The bad reputation still seems to be there, but if you've not been there for a while, give it whirl - you may change your mind. phillper0906 - 29 Jul 2009 19:59 |
