| Although the pub is pleasant enough inside we found that the place lacked a bit of atmosphere. It is a locals pub in the older part of Braunton way off the tourist trail but still seemed to be charging tourist prices so just had a couple then left. 4/10 montie49 - 26 Apr 2015 10:05 |

| This is a spartan pub , with gravity only dispense, a very warm welcome was given by a landlord commited to real ale.I felt so at home here, the locals were chatty and well informed, I could imagine moving next door.My next visit to Devon will include another pint here.It cannot be so perfect again !
