A completely souless place to visit. It feels something akin to dining in a warehouse or an aircraft hangar. The food was bland at best. Service was slow considering there was only a handfull of customers there when we visited. twinketoes - 20 Oct 2009 07:31 |

yuck! plastic food for chavz and screaming teenagers. Avoid! Eeyore71 - 31 Mar 2008 21:54 |
Like being at the zoo. Who needs the monkey house when you have hordes of screaming teenagers - why can't teenage girls talk without screaming every few seconds? and yoofs cracking their knuckles, usually on someone's face. beeronaut - 18 Feb 2008 09:13 |
Went today for the 1st time in 15 yrs at my 9yr old daughters birthday request. Had some trepidation but pleasantly suprised as I'm not a beefeater fan, but the food was good. Had a simple meal of steaks and ribs, all of which were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Surroundings were clean and spacious, and pleasant on the eye. On our visit it did not reflect any of the previous 5 reviews. We arrived at 6.30 and there were only a handful of diners, and left around 8.15 by which time the place was pretty full. On the downside, we waited a good 15 mins for our initial drinks order to arrive although it wasn't busy. The other is no consideration for us smokers who are now relegated to fight the elements for a smoke. There is no heated area, which even the smallest pubs provide, and worse still no outside ashtrays or bins for discarded butts! This has resulted in the landscaped outside area's around the building being littered with discarded fag butts! Unusual as there is an outside alfreso dining area, but I wouldn't fancy sitting in this area to eat. I would be happy to return in the near future, it is a nice place for a family meal/get together.
