Not a bad place for a stop off on a night out...house doubles are cheap but I remember it as Rothchilds wine bar in the eighties...time to get my duran duran album out again ???? not mistymoon - 28 Apr 2005 21:38 |
Best pub in town for all ages. They are strict on i.d as it is a student town, however no fuss is made over this. Two real ales on tap one a local brew. 4 kinds of Lager. The staff are always busy and very friendly and if you take the time to grab a conversation on a quieter day they will also keep you entertained. For the age of the decor you can tell it needs some refurbishment but it is kept very clean. The toilets are the best within the ring road. They have offers on all year round and fridays & saturday nights are where every body who is out calls in for a round or two. Great pub worth a visit. pete - 1 Oct 2004 16:50 |
